Description

In the traditional Yiddish "Lidelech" it says: Friends, I have been to the opera. I've seen and heard Pagliacci. Do you want to know what my thoughts are? How I liked the beautiful songs? Truly, the opera is rich in music. I liked those beautiful songs right away. But as a Jew, I long for what delights my heart. I love a Yiddish song, a deep, beautiful hasidic song, with my yuba buba boy...

Klezmer band RADA synergica is finally back with a new album. Their debut album "Isgrelaje" is still one of the best Klezmer albums in my collection.
The informative booklet also contains all lyrics and translations.

Claudia Herold, Sylke Jilani and Stefanie Koch have dedicated themselves as RADA synergica to Klezmer and Eastern European sound worlds. Inspired by their families, (East) German music schools and world travels, the songs of the Leipzig women have what is generally called 'wanderlust', that is, original and traditional. On their self-produced album 'Ajde, Ajde!', RADA synergica take us on a journey to Yiddish, Slavic and Anatolian regions. Cello, guitar, piano, accordion and clarinet do not need an amplifier, the vocals are pure and expressive. Whether love songs are celebrated or sung about suffering and poverty - great drama is deliberately avoided. And so 'Ajde, Ajde!' never tips over into commercial sobriety, but is world music at its best.
